It’s not Asian.
As we said in our initial blogging, challenge us to taste a beer and we will. We’d like to thank Diana for taking us up on that challenge. She suggested Xingu. We didn’t know how to pronounce it but Brian gave it his best shot. WATCH THIS:
Xingu is a black beer BUT it’s a lager, a good lager…so don’t be scared, it’s not as bitter or “dark” tasting as you it might appear. If you can get over the fact that it’s a really dark color, you’ll enjoy this beer. Thanks Diana. This beer didn’t suck so we will not make fun of you. In fact, you get to go to the front of the class!
Click here to find out how “The Black Beer” gets it’s color.
We picked this one up at Old World Leaf and Ale in Brentwood.

w00t! Well done, guys. I think it tastes better if you pronounce it differently every time you say it.

Squirrel…I mean Brian,
You and Josh are fcuking hilarious. I just have one question for you…How can you be a beer expert with no beer gut?
If you are drinking beers based on suggestions, I think you need to do a spot on the Magic Hat smokey porter.
It is without question the worst beer I’ve ever had, and as you may recall, I don’t leave too many beers unfinished.
This one tasted like a Guiness with cigarette butts floating in it….wait a second. I was tailgating at a Nats game at the time, so maybe my tastebuds weren’t lying…
